When should I start getting my small business paperwork ready for tax season?

Well its time once again to start thinking of getting your paperwork together for your bookkeeper. Many small business owners don’t think about this until around lets say April 15th. Oops, that is a little late for your bookkeeper. We need time to get all of your data entered and pull reports for the CPA. Now is the time to start gathering all of your receipts, invoices, bank and credit card statements. If you want to jump in front of the line, gather what paperwork you have now and add the last 2 months of paperwork after the first of the year. Your bookkeeper is a little slow now so this is the perfect time to send some things over. You will be getting your file worked on while no one else is thinking about it & You will move to the head of the line just by submitting early.

If you need help with your small business accounting give us a call (209) 652-2892 or send us an email, alisonlawlorbookkeeping@gmail.com.

We would be happy to work with you.

You can still file your payroll forms electronically but give your employees paper forms. All you need to do is choose the form you need, the amount of forms you need and your mailing information.
